RARE COLONIAL ERA SASH SAW
A sash saw would have been used by two men to cut
boards out of logs. One man would stand in an excavated pit while
another would work the saw from the top. This piece has got to be very
rare as I have only seen hand draw sketches in books. Measures
almost 6 feet in length so we'll have to make special arrangements for
shipping. Excavated SC.

AUTHENTIC GEORGE WASHINGTON INAUGURAL
BUTTON
For his inauguration, George Washington had
a set of buttons specially made. Apparently, the jeweler who ordered the
buttons ordered several additional sets and they quickly became in vogue
with anyone in the United States in political office at the time. This
particular button was recovered in Connecticut. It is a nice
example of the preferred design.
