ALBUMEN OF A CONFEDERATE SOUTH
CAROLINA SOLDIER
The frame is obviously very old and measures approximately 24 inches
by 18.5 inches. The Albumen itself measures approximately 19
inches by 13 inches. you can clearly
see the Palmetto Tree Insignia on the soldier's kepi. The
buttons appear to be plain dress buttons with the clothing being
period clothing.

Confederate General Joe Johnston was, arguably, the best CS Infantry
General to serve in the western theater oft the war. This CDV
is in fine condition. Great CDV for the price.

ALBUMEN OF A CONFEDERATE OFFICER
This large Albumen image of a Confederate Officer has what appears
to be a double row of eagle buttons with their wings down. The
frame measures approximately 17 inches by 14 inches. The
visible portion (from the border) measures approximately 9 inches by
6 inches.

TINTYPE FEATURING 5 SOLDIERS
This is a nice tintype of 5 soldiers all wearing
"US" model 1874 belt plates and crossed rife hatpins on their kepis.
These guys are most definitely seasoned Civil War veteran soldiers.

This image is a ninth plate ambrotype of a
musician holding a trumpet in uniform. The case is a very nice patriotic
gutta percha case featuring an eagle, flag, fort, mortar and cannonballs .

Nice Union Soldier ambrotype featuring soldier
sitting beside a table with his forage cap hat on the table. His
forage cap has a infantry hunting horn on top. Case is original to
the ambrotype.
