SUPER SOLID
EXCAVATED D GUARD CONFEDERATE BOWIE KNIFE FOUND AT SHILOH
Very nice, excavated,
Confederate D guard bowie knife found at Shiloh many years ago on
private property with the owners permission. This bowie was
found in the Confederate camps of the night of April 5, 1862.
Measurements are 14 inches in length by 4.5 inches wide at the D
guard. The blade itself is 1 3/4 inches wide by a little more
than 9 inches in length. What I find most appealing
about this piece is that many that you see for sale these days are
severely corroded. This one is not!!! Comes with a nice
display case that will allow hanging it on the wall.
Price: $950
